This Urban Mission recently launched a workforce development program which helps individuals prepare for employment by offering training and employment opportunities through the Urban Mission’s social enterprise, Urban Thrift & Opportunity Center in addition to internships with one of community partners.

The Jefferson County Community Action Council also operates a program called OhioMeansJobs which provides an array of employment, education and training programs for individuals who are unemployed or underemployed.
